EPP code and transfers

Back

An EPP code is an authorization key provided by your old registrar and required by your new registrar to complete a registration transfer. You must contact the old registrar to get it.  Once you initiate a trasfer to Ayna, your admin contact will receive an email asking them to confirm the transfer and need to provide the EPP code, once the admin submit the form with correct EPP, teh transfer will proceed and will take up 5-10 days to transfer from the old registrar to Ayna's.

After the domain is transfered, we will configure the DNS and yoru presence.

What is My EPP Code or Authorization Key?

The AUTH code is created at the time a domain is registered. Domain transfer requests must include the AUTH code to confirm transfer authority. The AUTH code can be found by contacting your current Domain Registration Service Provider and they must provide it to you. If they do not, the Domain Registration Service Provider is in breach of their Registry-Registrar Agreement and you should contact the appropriate Registry.
